Fun on the Fourth!

Nothing screams summer like baseball, hotdogs, apple pie ... and the Fourth of July! If you are looking for some family-friendly east bay fun over the Fourth of July weekend, I've got you covered. From Brentwood to Walnut Creek, there are plenty of activities for everyone.


Brentwood Classic 4th of July Parade


What's more fun than a classic parade on a warm summer day?


Where: Corner of First and Birch, right on Oak to Community Center

When: 9:30 am


The popular Children's Parade returns, which will be followed immediately by the main parade. Remember, pre-registration is not required for the Children's Parade. Kids can dress up and join the parade on play vehicles, scooters, skates, bikes and wagons. Have fun and be creative! Line begins at 1st and Birch. Then don't miss the main parade immediately following the Children's Parade.


Oakley Summer Fest


When: Saturday, July 2, 11am-5pm

Where: Civic Center Plaza, Main Street


Enjoy live music on the main stage, a vintage car show on Main Street, a giant kids area, local artisan makers, and delicious food vendors. Please keep in mind that there will be no fireworks at this event.

Parkoncert Band Celebrates the Fourth!


When: Mon, Jul 4, 2022 at 6:00 PM Where: Civic Park, Walnut Creek


It's a party at the park! Bring the whole crew and a picnic too! The Walnut Creek Concert Band helps us celebrate our country with Patriotic Music, Marches and fun for everyone. The concert is free and open to all.
