It’s Memorial Day weekend, and the Bay Area is bursting with energy just like the real estate market! 2025 San Francisco Carnaval Festival & Parade (San Francisco)
What: The free, two–day Festival covers 17 blocks in the Mission District, with five main stages, 50 local performing artists, and 400 vendors. The festival includes international food, dancing, sampling sites and entertainment for families, couples and friends of all ethnic, social and economic backgrounds. In the 47–year history of our Festival, we have welcomed luminaries like Celia Cruz, Santana, the Neville Brothers, Tito Puentes, Luis Enrique, Poncho Sanchez, Los Lonely Boys, Oscar D’León, La India, and Los Tigres del Norte. The two-day celebration is a cultural explosion with free admission for the community. With an attendance rate of over 400,000 people yearly, Carnaval San Francisco is the largest multicultural celebration in California.

Bay Area KidFest (Concord)
What: 34th Bay Area KidFest on the Memorial Day Weekend of May 24-25-26, 2025
Our low admission price to Bay Area KidFest includes unlimited access to non-stop live family entertainment, fascinating traveling attractions, arts and sports activities for children to stimulate learning and exploration, and much more. KidFest also features two food courts, over 20 kid-friendly rides plus arts & crafts and other vendors for an additional charge.

Concerts By The Lake 2025 (Pleasant Hill)
What: Enjoy live music by the lake May-August, at Pleasant Hill City Hall in 2025 every other Sunday beginning May 25th thru August 31st.
Great food, live music, and communal Adirondack chairs to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting by the lake at City Hall.
Dust off your dancing shoes, here's the lineup for the 2025 Sunset by the Lake Concert.
The Civic Action Commission is pleased to provide this entertaining series again in 2025.
