By supporting the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano County, we aim to create ripples of kindness that extend far beyond the real estate market. Giving back is at the core of what we do, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to pay it forward.

Fighting Hunger, One Meal at a Time

The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano County has been a cornerstone of support for families in need since 1975. With a mission to end hunger and increase access to nutritious food, the organization distributes millions of pounds of food annually to individuals and families across the region. Whether it’s through food pantries, community kitchens, or school lunch programs, the Food Bank ensures that no one in our community goes hungry.

How We’re Supporting the Cause

The Forkas Home Team is proud to partner with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano County to help bring awareness and resources to their vital programs. This season, we’re taking steps to make a difference through:

  1. Team Volunteering: Our team is dedicating time to assist with sorting and packaging food donations. These hands-on efforts are our way of contributing directly to the Food Bank’s mission.

  2. Donations: For every home sold this quarter, The Forkas Home Team is making a donation to the Food Bank. These funds will go toward purchasing fresh produce and staples that are essential to families in need.

  3. Community Food Drive: We’re hosting a community-wide food drive to encourage our neighbors to get involved. Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at our office through the end of the month.

How You Can Help

Making a difference is a team effort, and we invite you to join us in supporting the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano County. Here’s how you can contribute:

  • Donate Food: Drop off canned goods, rice, pasta, and other non-perishable items at a local food bank or our office.

  • Give Financially: Even a small monetary donation can help provide meals to those in need. Visit the Food Bank’s website to make a secure donation.

  • Volunteer Your Time: Whether you’re an individual or part of a group, volunteering at the Food Bank is a fulfilling way to give back.
