What: Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery to Host Annual Family Earth Day Celebration on April 26 in PittsburgPITTSBURG, Calif. – Let’s celebrate Earth Day together! We’re bringing the community together for an exciting, family-friendly event with fun activities, hands-on experiences, and sustainability education. And the best part? It’s FREE!

Berkeley Bay Festival + Free Boat Rides (Berkeley)
What:Celebrate the San Francisco Bay at the Berkeley Marina and connect with the community through live music, food, and hands-on educational activities This free family-focused event celebrates the Bay, its local wildlife, and the people and agencies dedicated to its protection. Over 30 environmental and wildlife conservation organizations from around the Bay will share their exhibits with the public.

DogFest 2025: Pet Festival, Carnival & Parade (San Francisco)
What: DogFest 2025 is a mutt-tastic festival at one of the most dog-friendly parks in the city and the biggest dog event in San Francisco.
DogFest is a celebration of dogs, families, community, and spring in San Francisco. It’s also a charitable event that raises funds for McKinley Elementary – a small public school in the neighborhood.
DogFest attendees can expect nonstop fun and games. The park fills with carnival-style games staffed by McKinley students, while at the top end jumping castles keep the little ones busy. Dogs are the star of the event, of course, with a daylong show and contest. Food trucks ensure that everyone is well fed, while the book fair, merchant stalls, and the doggie adoption zone provide wonderful ways to support the community.

Bay Area Craft Beer Festival (Martinez)
What: Get ready to kick up your heels at the ultimate beer lover’s paradise! The Bay Area Craft Beer Festival returns to the beautiful Martinez Waterfront on April 26th, and this year, we’re taking it to the next level with our new country-themed celebration: Boots & Brews!
Join us for a day filled with craft beer, wine (new), and live music as you immerse yourself in the vibrant flavors of the Bay Area. With over 40 local breweries and wineries showcasing their finest creations, you’ll have the chance to sample unique brews, seasonal releases, homebrews, and experimental flavors that highlight the creativity of our region’s craft scene.
